I know it was played for laughs, and that’s how the fandom took it as well.
But I think it’s also a pretty big thing for something different, if you think back in the story.
Frumpkin is important to Caleb. Massively. Liam has commented on that a lot, and it also shows in his RP. Getting Frumpkin BACK from whatever shape or place he was in is one of Caleb’s top priorities.
Twiggy can hang with him for an hour, and Caleb is very very insistent to get him back immediately.
Compare to that:
Beau had Frumpkin for several DAYS.
Imagine what that means, concerning Caleb’s trust in her.
